A refrigerator which includes a storage compartment cooled using the direct cooling method and a storage compartment cooled using the indirect cooling method with less energy consumption is provided. The refrigerator is a refrigerator (100) including a first cooler (12) and a second cooler (32), and further includes a refrigerating compartment (10) having an opening at a front face and an inside which is cooled by a wall cooled by the first cooler (12); a temperature-switchable compartment (20) having an opening at a front face and an inside which is cooled by circulating cool air cooled by the second cooler (32); and a first door (11) which seals the opening of the refrigerating compartment (10) and the opening of the temperature-switchable compartment (20) in a manner which allows opening and closing.
