PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair iron which is capable of more certainly setting hair into a desired style. SOLUTION: The hair iron 1 includes a first holding portion 2b having a first hair holding surface 22a and a second holding portion 3b having a second hair holding surface 32a configured to hold hair with the first hair holding surface 22a.
