PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ankle foot orthosis in which a damper does not need to oscillate. SOLUTION: The ankle foot orthosis 10 includes a lower thigh member 12 worn around the lower thigh of a user, a foot member 14 worn around the foot of the user, the damper 40, and a coupling mechanism 20. The foot member 14 is oscillatably coupled with the lower thigh member 12. The damper 40 provides viscosity elastic by a movable end moving. The damper 40 is fixed to the lower thigh member 12, and the movable end moves along the lower thigh in the longitudinal direction when the lower thigh member 12 is worn by the user. The coupling mechanism 20 couples the foot member 14 to the movable end of the damper 40.
