PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fascia board material with ventilating function for constituting a finish at the edge of an eaves of a roof, which can be easily mounted on the edge of the eaves, and can prevent infiltration of rainwater while maintaining satisfactory permeability. SOLUTION: The fascia board material includes: a front main plate portion 5; a casing-like portion 1 which is formed at the lower end of the front main plate portion 5 and composed of a front plate portion 11, a bottom plate portion 12, a back plate portion 13 and a top plate portion 14; and a screen portion 3 which is formed in at least any one of the front plate portion 11, bottom plate portion 12 and back plate portion 13 of the casing-like portion 1, and which is formed in substantially a dish-like sectional shape to swell toward a hole area 21a of a vertically elliptic ventilation hole 2 while continuing to the ventilation hole 2 and upper and lower portions of an inner periphery 21 of the ventilation hole 2.
