PURPOSE: Functional scorched rice using red ginseng, and a producing method thereof are provided to improve the taste and the nutrition balance of conventional scorched rice. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of functional scorched rice using red ginseng comprises the following steps: washing non-glutinous rice, glutinous rice, and brown rice, and soaking in water; cutting the red ginseng and cooking with the mixed rice, to obtain red ginseng rice; spreading the red ginseng rice on a conventional scorched rice making machine, and sprinkling mixed grain powder and red ginseng water; spreading another layer of red ginseng rice on the upper side of the mixed grain powder, and roasting both sides of the red ginseng rice; and cutting and packing the obtained scorched rice.
