PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject foamed material having satisfiable recyclability and compression set resistance and useful as automobile parts; etc., by using a specific rubbery soft olefin resin. SOLUTION: The objective foamed material has an average bubble diameter of 50-150μm, a gel fraction of 40-99%, a crystallinity of the foamed material of 3-30% and a flexibility index of >=4. The foamed material can be produced by kneading a mixture of (A) a rubbery soft olefin resin having a volume expansion ratio of >=1.05 defined by the ratio of the volume at 150 deg.C to the volume at 0 deg.C, (B) a thermally decomposing foaming agent and (C) a peroxide crosslinking agent at B/A weight ratio of (0.5-15.0)/100 and C/A weight ratio of (0.3-2.5)/100 and foaming the produced foamable composition by hot-pressing at >=130 deg.C under a pressure of >=40 kgf/cm<2> . |
