The tool has a stationary tool upper part (4) with a deep-drawing mold (3) attached to a lower side. A veneer support structure consisting of a supporting element (2), is formed around a counter mold (6) of a tool lower part (5). A level of a support surface is located above the counter mold before execution of a deep-drawing process. The lower tool part is movable relative to a laminated real wood veneer sheet (1) stored on the veneer support structure. Fleece, a cellulose fabric or a film made up of plastic or metal i.e. aluminum, is used as a laminating material. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming a laminated real wood veneer using a deep-drawing tool for deep-drawing of laminated real wood veneer sheets.
