PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device in which folding of a locking claw locking a circuit board is easily performed and backlash of the circuit board can be suppressed, and to provide a luminaire including the power supply device. SOLUTION: A power supply device 1 includes a circuit board 2 and a case 3 having a bottom plate 5, a pair of rising parts 6, 6 formed on both sides of the bottom plate 5 in the longitudinal direction, projections 8 locking one surface 2a of the circuit board 2, and locking claws 9. Each locking claw is provided such that each locking claw can be folded inside the pair of rising parts 6, 6 while each locking claw is provided along the longitudinal direction of the pair of rising parts 6, 6, the leading end of each locking claw faces each other, and the lower end surface of each locking claw is linearly separated from the bottom plate 5 as approaching from the root section to the leading end, so that each locking claw is tilted in the longitudinal direction of the pair of rising parts 6, 6.
