<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel-driving circuit which has a considerably reduced area. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel-driving circuit drives a liquid crystal display panel with a resolution of N bits. Input N-bit digital data includes upper X bits and lower Y bits. The liquid crystal display panel-driving circuit includes: a resistor string unit according to areas, which outputs analog reference voltages at different ratios according to three areas into which a voltage range of N-bit digital data is divided; a DAC converter-switching unit according to areas, which receives the N-bit digital data, selects and outputs (Y+1) analog voltages out of the analog reference voltages inputted from the resistor string unit on the basis of the upper X bits and outputs the (Y+1) analog voltages of different combinations based on the lower Y bits; and an interpolation amplifier which receives the (Y+1) analog voltages and generates an interpolated output voltage by setting a weight for each of the (Y+1) analog voltages by using multi-factors determined by a Y value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
