PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of keeping a good contact state between an electric wire and a terminal by avoiding an excessive stress from working on the terminal and realizing a suitable contact state in response to any kind of the wires and moreover capable of easily pushing down the wire into a pressure-contact groove. SOLUTION: A pressure-contact part 61 has two elastic arm parts 63 extending in a vertical direction, and a pressure-contact groove 64 is formed on an opposing edge of the elastic arm part 63 and a pressure-contact blade 65 is formed on the opposing edge, and two of the elastic arm parts 63 are displaced elastically in a direction to widen the pressure-contact groove 64 to enable the wire C1 to be received. Two of the elastic arm parts 63 are provided with a first arm portion 63A in which a base part 63A-1 is connected with a connecting part 62 and which extends upward from the base part 63A-1 and a second arm portion 63C extending side by side with the first arm portion 63A downward through a transition portion 63B which is bent at a tip end of the first arm portion 63A, and an inner edge part of each opposing second arm portions 63C contacts with the wire C1 by the pressure-contact blade 65 formed on the inner edge portion.
