<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable survey device capable of searching surely for a survey object cable by suppressing transmission survey signal transfer to the side reverse to the searching direction of the survey object cable. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes: an electromagnetic conversion element 2 having a circular clamp; a transmitter 1 for applying an electromagnetic signal having a frequency different from a current to be sent into the cable, to the cable by the electromagnetic conversion element 2 as a transmission survey signal 15; a current suppressing element 51 installed on the direction side reverse to the survey direction of the cable, for suppressing transmission to the reverse direction side of the transmission survey signal 15; a magnetoelectric conversion element 4 having a circular clamp for detecting a magnetic flux generated by the transmission survey signal flowing in the cable; and a receiver 3 for detecting a reception survey signal 31 by the magnetoelectric conversion element. The current suppressing element 51 is constituted by connecting a metal material covering a cable coating surface to the earth, and when it is judged that the transmission survey signal 15 has the same phase as the reception survey signal 31 by determining the phase of the reception survey signal 31 by the receiver 2, it is determined to be the survey object cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
