PURPOSE: A device for starting a vehicle using a smart key is provided to increase user convenience since the power-state change and starting of the vehicle are possible by the operation of a return type of jog wheel. CONSTITUTION: A device for starting a vehicle using a smart key comprises a button(11a), an operation unit(11), and a control unit(15). A return type of jog wheel(11b) is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the button. The control unit starts or stops a vehicle according to the operation of the button. The control unit controls to change the power state of the vehicle according to the operation of the jog wheel. The control unit changes the power state according to the number of operations of the jog wheel in a first direction. The control unit changes the power state in an opposite order to information on a power-state change order according to the number of operations of the jog wheel in a second direction. The information on the power-state change order is previously set to be changed by the first direction. |
