PURPOSE: An attachment detecting apparatus and its assembly are provided to enable the state of an attachment to be easily recognized regardless of the shape and position of the attachment since an electrical contact is arranged in a guide housing to be blocked from the outside and a contact member makes direct contact with an attachment, which is attached to a part for a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: An attachment detecting apparatus(S) comprises a guide housing(100), a contact member(200), an electrical contact(300) and an elastic member(400). A through hole of an insulating material is formed on the guide housing. One end of the contact member is formed from an elastic material and makes contact with an attachment, which is attached to a part for a vehicle body. The other end of the contact member is formed from a conductor. The contact member is arranged on one side of the guide housing to be able to slide in the through hole of the guide housing in an axial direction. The electric contact is arranged on the other side of the guide housing to be able to send an electrical signal if the other end of the contact member slides and makes electrical contact.
