<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform coating workpiece of preservative with a stable amount of supply. <P>SOLUTION: An electric wire 10 having a terminal is held by a holding section 72. The preservative 30 formed in a granular shape is guided toward exposed parts 16a, 16b of a conductor edge 16 in the electric wire 10 having a terminal through a guidance section 84 and is positioned and supported on the exposed parts 16a, 16b.
