PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an uneven surface that is sinusoidally changed along the outer peripheral surface of a rotor in the axial direction by one detecting object, and obtain a two-phase output signal by a simplified and compact structure. SOLUTION: The resolver signal detector includes a detecting object (6) that is arranged and fixed at only one place of the outer peripheral surface (3) of a rotor (8) and in non-contact with the outer peripheral surface (3), and a plurality of projection teeth (7a-7d) and detection coils (A-D) provided on the detecting object (6). Once the rotor (8) is rotated, the sinusoidal change of the uneven surface (4) of the rotor (8) is obtained as a two-phase output signal by the detecting object (6). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
