PURPOSE: A platinum thin-film and a method of manufacturing a platinum thin-film using electro-deposition are provided to increase the generation of hydrogen since the platinum thin-film is used as the counter electrode of a photoelectrochemical cell. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a platinum thin-film using electro-deposition is as follows. Chloroplatinic acid(H2PtCl6xH2O) is melted in the distilled water of deposition reactor, and thus aqueous electrolyte is manufactured. A support is dipped in the aqueous electrolyte of the deposition reactor, and the support comprises a reference electrode, a counter electrode, and a working electrode. Voltage is applied to the working electrode, and thus platinum is electrodeposited.
