PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure the rigidity of a clip and to favorably reopen the clip for ligating again. SOLUTION: This clip includes: a body 4 having arm parts 2, 3 opened from the proximal end toward the proximal end; and a fastening member (e.g. a fastening ring 6) inserted to the outside of the body 4 and moved toward the distal end to fasten the arm parts 2, 3, the tips 5 of which can be closed. In the arm parts 2, 3, the tips 5 thereof are closed to ligate biological tissue by the tips 5. The arm parts are configured to repel each other against the external force applied in the direction of making the tips 5 close to each other. In the respective arm parts 2, 3, a partial section in the direction pointing from the proximal end toward the distal end constitutes a fastening receiving part 7 fastened by the fastening member. The outer peripheral shape of the fastening receiving part 7 at least in one of the arms 2, 3 is formed like a reverse projected curved surface to the other of the arm parts 2, 3.
