<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial bone member which has high joint strength with an autologous bone and maintains firm joining with the autologous bone and is highly versatile. <P>SOLUTION: The artificial bone member forms a joint part where joint strength with the autologous bone is stronger than that of a base member where ion implantation is not partially performed by surface quality improvement by ion implantation at least on the surface of the base material comprising bioactive ceramics.
