<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial bone member which has high joint strength with an autologous bone and maintains firm joining with the autologous bone and is highly versatile. <P>SOLUTION: The artificial bone member forms a joint part where joint strength with the autologous bone is stronger than that of a base member where ion implantation is not partially performed by surface quality improvement by ion implantation at least on the surface of the base material comprising bioactive ceramics. In the joint part, concentration of ion implanted by ion implantation is set in the range of 1×10<SP>8</SP>/cm<SP>2</SP>to <1×10<SP>16</SP>/cm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
