<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat power generator system for preventing a damage to the power generator at high probability when the power generator is in no-load operation. <P>SOLUTION: The waste heat power generator 1 includes a waste heat power generator 10, a power load connecting unit 21 that supplies power generated by the waste heat power generator 10 to a power load 60, an electric circuit 30 connecting the waste heat power generator 10 to the power load connecting unit 21, a load adjusting device 24 having a resistor 25 and a switch 26 which consume power generated by the waste heat power generator 10, a first voltage detector 31 which detects voltage across the load adjusting device 24, a second voltage detector 32 which detects voltage across the switch 26, and a fault detector 51. The fault detector 51 determines that a fault occurs in the resistor 25 when a value detected by the first voltage detector 31 is a first given value or larger, and a value detected by the second voltage detector 32 is a second given value or smaller, the second given voltage value being smaller than the first given value, under a condition that the switch 26 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
