<p>The disclosed data collection system is provided with an image input means, a code deciphering means, an image analysis means, and a server. The image input means is loaded on a portable terminal, and acquires an image to be analyzed that is the image of a display device that is the object of analysis. The code deciphering means retrieves from the image to be analyzed a coded image portion that is an image of an optically readable code provided corresponding to the object of analysis, and extracts the description of the code from the coded image portion. The image analysis means selects an image analysis algorithm in response to image classification data included in the description of the code, and using the selected image analysis algorithm, performs image analysis on the image to be analyzed and extracts display data of the display device. The server can communicate with the portable terminal, and is provided with a data accumulator unit that stores display data.</p> |
