<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil which can increase energy generated in a secondary coil by improving the magnetic performance of a center core when forming the center core by compression-molding a pressed powder material. <P>SOLUTION: In an ignition coil, a soft-magnetic center core 4 which is arranged at the inner peripheral side of a primary coil 21 and a secondary coil is formed by compression-molding a pressed powder material 40. The center core 4 has recessed parts 43A and 43B formed at the axial center position at a high-voltage side end face 41 positioned at the high-voltage side of the secondary coil and a low-voltage side end face 42 positioned at the low-voltage side of the secondary coil in an axial direction C through which magnetic flux generated by the primary coil 21 passes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
