Salts of the general formula (R 1 , 2 = H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, each group optionally carrying one or more halogen substituents) are prepared from propranolol and the appropriate acid. These compounds possess anti-arrhythmic, hypotensive and sedative properties, and may be administered in the form of pharmaceutical preparations containing them together with a carrier.</p> |
