PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored aluminum pigment that exhibits excellent color reproducibility by using carbon black as a coloring pigment. SOLUTION: The colored aluminum pigment comprises an aluminum flake, a covering layer composed of an inorganic acid for covering the surface thereof, and a carbon black layer composed of carbon black adhereing to the covering layer, wherein the carbon black is characterized by having a specific average particle size, a specific surface area and a specific pH value and adheres to the surface area of the aluminum flake in an amount of 0.001-0.1 g/m<SP>2</SP>.
