<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali-soluble photosensitive colored composition having excellent dispersion stability of a pigment even when a fine pigment is used, or a pigment concentration is high, and reducing generation of a block of dry aggregates on a tip of a die lip when a color layer of a color filter is formed by applying the composition on a color filter substrate by a die coating method; and also to provide a color filter using the alkali-soluble photosensitive colored composition. <P>SOLUTION: The alkali-soluble photosensitive colored composition contains at least a pigment, a pigment dispersant, a curable binder system, a solvent, and a compound having a specified structure.
