<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image which causes less occurrence of bronzing and less increase of yellow density (yellowing), is superior in image clarity and furthermore, is capable of forming an image with high image density. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming an image includes forming an image portion by providing an ink composition containing color material on the porous layer of a recording medium which has the porous layer containing at least inorganic particles on a support body, and providing thereafter a processing solvent containing colloidal silica with a primary average particle diameter of 5 to 60 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
