<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte membrane-electrode joint body having excellent durability and power generation performance, in particular, the electrolyte membrane-electrode joint body for a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This electrolyte membrane-electrode joint body has: an electrolyte membrane; a cathode catalyst layer arranged in one side of the electrolyte membrane; a cathode side gas diffusion layer arranged in the cathode catalyst layer, and an anode catalyst layer; and an anode side gas diffusion layer arranged sequentially in the other side of the electrolyte membrane. An impurity trapping member is arranged between the cathode catalyst layer and the cathode side gas diffusion layer, between the anode catalyst layer and the anode side gas diffusion layer, in an inside of the cathode catalyst layer, or in an inside of the anode catalyst layer; the cathode catalyst layer and the anode catalyst layer contain a fluorine electrolyte; and the impurity trapping member contains a hydrocarbon electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
