PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system, in which a pattern image for adjustment of image position is easily confirmed without taking the time and effort of a user and an image forming position for a first image forming apparatus is aligned with an image forming position for a second image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The first image forming apparatus 11 forms the first pattern image for adjustment of image position on recording paper P, whereas a second image forming apparatus 21 forms a second pattern image for adjustment of image position on the recording paper P. The first pattern image and the second pattern image for the adjustment of image positions are formed on the same surface of the recording paper P so as to satisfy a prescribed relation of positions.
