PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery peripheral structure of a saddle-riding vehicle which enhances the maintainability in view of a case in which the other wire is connected to a battery. SOLUTION: In this saddle-riding vehicle including a battery 30 for supplying power to the electrical components of the vehicle and a battery holder 29 for housing the battery 30, a lid member 34 fixedly holding the battery 30 in cooperation with the battery holder 29 is openably provided to the battery holder 29, and an opening 47 is provided to the lid member 34 at a position facing the positive terminal and the negative terminal 32 of the battery 30. This allows booster cables and the like to be connected to the positive terminal and the negative terminal 32 without opening the lid member 34, thereby enhancing the maintainability.
