PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can appropriately reset a controller when the controller is in abnormal condition. SOLUTION: The game machine 1 has a production control CPU 401, a liquid crystal control CPU 501 and a VDP 504 conroled by the liquid crystal control CPU 501. The production control CPU 401 transmits a command (TXD) to the liquid crystal control CPU 501 and transmits a reset signal (RESET) to the liquid crystal control CPU 501. The liquid crystal control CPU 501 controls the VDP 504 according to the command from the production control CPU 401. The production control CPU 401 resets the liquid crystal control CPU 501 according to the signals (RESET, WDTCLR, RDY/BSY, ERR) transmitted/received between the liquid crystal control CPU 501 and the VDP 504.
