A saddle-ride type vehicle 10 has a head pipe 71 for supporting a handlebar, left and right side frame members 67 and 68 extending back obliquely downward from the head pipe 71, and an airbag device comprising an airbag for protecting a rider and acceleration sensors 22, 23 for detecting vehicle impact. An acceleration sensor is provided on each side frame member 67 and 68. This arrangement improves the freedom of arrangement and versatility of sensors, simplifies the design of a harness connecting the sensors, and leads to external disturbances having less effect. |
