<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a method for cooking a food having a burnt mark on the surface in a frozen food. <P>SOLUTION: The method for cooking a frozen food comprises a pretreatment process for processing a foodstuff into a state suitable for eating, a burnt mark formation process for previously making a burnt mark on the surface of pretreated foodstuff, a freezing process for freezing the foodstuff provided with the burnt mark, and a thawing and cooking process for holding the frozen foodstuff in a heating vessel which is a closed vessel of a fixed size and has a function for maintaining a steam atmosphere in the vessel constant and cooking the foodstuff with a microwave oven. The burnt mark is formed by radiation with a burner, etc., or made directly on the foodstuff by a hot plate and the heating vessel is composed of a vessel with a fixed depth and a lid to be closed and engaged with the vessel and the lid is equipped with a pressure adjustment part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
