AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to prevent the stalling of the vehicle due to the RPM drop of the engine. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle comprises a water temperature sensor(10) and a controller(20). The water temperature sensor senses the temperature of the cooling water. The controller receives the engine RPM information of the vehicle from an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(100). The operation of the air conditioner is restricted if the temperature of the cooling water is below a predetermined value or the decrease rate in a section, in which the engine RPM decreases, exceeds a reference value, when the vehicle starts. The controller delays the operation of the air conditioner or maintains the discharge capacity of the air conditioner at a minimum value for a given time on the input signal of the air conditioner.
