PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold member for a storage tank, which adapts to new laws and regulations by enhancing safety for fixedly using a retainer member for being directly attached to a wall surface of a side plate of the storage tank, that is, a bracket. SOLUTION: In this scaffold member for the storage tank, a scaffold 5 has a bracket structure for being directly fixed and attached to the wall surface of the side plate 3; attachment retainers 11 and 11 are fixed onto the brackets 6 of both the side surfaces of the scaffolding board 8 of the scaffold 5; an inclined baseboard 12A for structurally covering a gap in the direction of the wall surface of the side plate is attached to the attachment retainer 11 in the direction of the side plate; and a vertical baseboard 12B for blocking a gap in the center direction of the storage tank is attached to the attachment retainer 11 on the opposite side.
