<p>Stretch yarn and non-stretch yarns are used with a warp knitter or a needle loom to give a fabric construction with a lockstitch, and a controlled pattern of circular or slit openings in the material. The fabric has longitudinal stretch through the stretch yarns, lateral stretch to a controlled degree through the knitted openings, and the material can be cut for seat and bed covers without running through the lock stitch constructions.</p> |
