PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing device for repulsive type hardness meter, dispensing with a computer or a control device and which becomes inexpensive by mechanically renewing and moving a test hitting position. SOLUTION: In the testing device of the repulsive type hardness meter for minutely renewing the test hitting position to a hardness master 2 having standard hardness by a position alteration means 3 so as to leave a spaced-apart distance, exerting no effect on inspection to apply test hitting to the hardness master by a hitting hammer 4a to perform test, the position alteration means 3 includes the friction wheel 7, brought into contact with the base of a hardness master placing stand 6 to make the hardness master placing stand 6 revolve slightly in a peripheral direction by a definite distance; an intermittent feed mechanism 5 for making the friction wheel 7 intermittently rotate and a radial-direction feed mechanism 9 and to minutely move the hardness master placing stand 6, by a certain distance, in a radial direction by the intermittent feed mechanism 5.
