PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modafinil polymorphic forms, a method for producing the same, a pharmaceutical composition and a method of treatment comprising the modafinil polymorphic forms. SOLUTION: The new 5 kinds of modafinil racemate compounds called as CRL40476 type III. CRL40476 type IV, CRL40476 type V, CRL40476 type VI and CRL40476 type VII, and modafinil solvated materials are obtained by improving the production method and treatment of a pharmaceutical starting substance by crystallization, while changing physicochemical conditions (e.g. crystallization solvent, temperature, concentration, method of filtration, etc.).
