<p>Disclosed is an alkaline dry battery wherein an open end (11) of a battery case (1) is sealed with a negative electrode terminal plate (7) with a resin sealing body (5) interposed therebetween. A shoulder part (12b) of a sealing end (12) of the battery case (1) and a central flat plate part (7a) of the negative electrode terminal plate (7) are formed from the same material, and the thickness of the shoulder part (12b) of the battery case (1) is 0.2-0.4 mm (inclusive). When the thickness of the shoulder part (12b) of the battery case (1) is represented by Tp [mm] and the thickness of the central flat plate part (7a) of the negative electrode terminal plate (7) is represented by Tn [mm], the relation 1.0 = (Tn/Tp) = 2.0 is satisfied.</p> |
