PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide column packing for separating hemoglobin, which is capable of highly accurately measuring hemoglobin in a short time, and improving the lifetime of a column, a method for measuring hemoglobin A1c using the column packing for separating hemoglobin, a method for measuring hemoglobin A1c and abnormal hemoglobin using the column packing for separating hemoglobin, and a method for producing the column packing for separating hemoglobin. SOLUTION: The column packing for separating hemoglobin includes: crosslinked polymer particles obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture containing a non-crosslinkable hydrophilic acrylic monomer and polyglycidyl ethers; and an acrylic polymer layer having a cation exchange group formed on the surface of the crosslinked polymer particles.
