PURPOSE: A three-dimensional object apparatus and a method thereof are provided to express natural movement and to naturally express the movement of a three-dimensional character such as a three-dimensional game and virtual reality. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional object transforming apparatus generates an animation effect by transforming a three-dimensional object. A first vertex constitutes of the three-dimensional object at a first point. A second vertex constitutes of the three-dimensional object at a first point. A distance calculating unit(310) calculates a distance to the surface of the three-dimensional object. An object changing unit(340) changes a coordinate of a first vertex.
