PURPOSE: A shock absorber with a plastic-based lower connecting unit is provided to conveniently implement manufacturing processes by forming the lower connecting unit based on plastic and directly combining the lower connecting unit with a metal-based cylindrical base shell. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber with a plastic-based lower connecting unit includes a base shell(10), a piston valve, a piston rod, a lower connecting unit(20), and an installing structure. The base shell is a cylindrical metal material. The piston valve is contained in the base shell. The piston valve generates damping force by vertically moving. One end of the piston rod is in connection with the piston valve. Another end of the piston rod is expanded to the external side of the base shell. The lower connecting unit is inserted into the lower part of the base shell. The installing structure installs the lower connecting unit to the lower side of the base shell. |
