摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharging apparatus securing a discharge stability in a simple structure by suppressing the viscosity of liquid from increasing in a simple configurationn. SOLUTION: A printer includes a recording head 2 configured to deliver ink with which a pressure chamber 32 is filled from a nozzle aperture 29 by causing pressure fluctuation in the pressure chamber 32 by operation of a piezoelectric vibrator. The printer includes a controller configured to control the operation of the piezoelectric vibrator. The controller performs: swelling treatment for forming a swollen part 52 by pushing out the ink to such an extent that the ink is not delivered from the nozzle aperture, and swelling some of the ink to the outer side than a nozzle forming surface 26a; curing treatment for forming a cured part 53 having a cured liquid level on a liquid level 52a being an air contact surface of the swollen part while holding the swollen state of the ink; and a canceling treatment for canceling pushing-out of the ink after forming the cured part.
