<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing the steering stability performance and the noise performance while maintaining the on-snow performance. <P>SOLUTION: A shoulder transverse groove 10 includes a first shoulder transverse groove 11 having the groove width of≥3.5 mm in the entire area of the groove length, and a second shoulder transverse groove 12 having the groove width of 0.5-2.0 mm in which a sipe-shaped part 12b opened in a shoulder main groove 4 is continuously provided on the inner side in the tire axial direction of a main part 12a having the groove width of≥3.5 mm. A crown transverse groove 7 includes a first crown transverse groove 8 having the groove width of≥2.0 mm in the entire area of the groove length, and a second crown transverse groove 9 having the groove width of 0.5-2.0 mm in which a sipe-shaped part 9b opened in a crown main groove 3 is continuously provided on the inner side in the tire axial direction of a main part 9a.
