PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Ethernet switch capable of effectively using all twisted pair wires, and preventing wrong connections of a user, and to provide a wiring system. SOLUTION: In this Ethernet switch, formed with a plurality of connectors 4 each constituted of a modular jack having eight first to eighth terminals wherein the first and second terminals, the third and sixth terminals, the fourth and fifth terminals, and the seventh and eighth terminals are respectively formed in pairs, and each of a part or all of the connectors 4 uses the pair of first and second terminals and the pair of fourth and fifth terminals as a first line, and uses the pair of third and sixth terminals and the pair of seventh and eighth terminals as a second line so as to allow communication for two lines to be performed by the single connector 4.
