<p>PURPOSE: A module cylinder for a self-piercing rivet device is provided to induce stable self piercing operation by press-fitting the rivet into the lower material through control pressure. CONSTITUTION: A module cylinder for a self-piercing rivet device comprises a rod guide hole(51), a regulating rod(53), and a regulating valve(60). The rod guide hole forms a control hydraulic chamber. The regulating rod is slidably inserted into the rod guide hole. The upper end of the regulating rod is fixed with the inner and upper side of the cylinder housing. The regulating valve is connected to a control pressure input channel(L1) and a control pressure output channel(L2).</p> |
