Provided is a spectroscopy module (1) wherein a flange (7) is integrally formed along the rim (6a) of a diffraction layer (6) so as to be thicker than the diffraction layer (6). When using a master mold to form the diffraction layer (6) and flange (7), this prevents the diffraction layer (6), which is formed along a convex curved surface (3a) of a lens (3), from being pulled away from the curved surface (3a) by the master mold during mold release. Also, a diffraction grating pattern (9) is formed off towards a specified side with respect to the center of the diffraction layer (6). This makes it possible to prevent separation of the diffraction layer (6) or damage to the diffraction grating pattern (9) by releasing the diffraction layer (6) from the mold starting with the side opposite the aforementioned specified side.
