<p>A method and an apparatus for coordinated multi-point processing are disclosed in the present invention. The method comprises: the base station to which the user terminal belongs determines bandwidth capability and performance requirement of the user terminal, and makes itself temporary master coordinated base station of the user terminal so as to provide service for the user terminal; the base station receives inter-cell interference information reported from the user terminal, and selects master coordinated base station to provide service for the user terminal according to the inter-cell interference information so that the master coordinated base station can take coordinated multi-point processing. By the present invention, the signaling exchanging between the coordinated base station and the user terminal can be significantly reduced during coordinated multi-point transmission/reception, and the system expense can be decreased.</p> |
