PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator having a structure in which an inflow of blow-by gas containing oil scattered around the oil separator from an oil drain is inhibited. SOLUTION: The oil separator 1 includes: a gas flow passage 5 having a gas introduction port 3 and a gas discharge port 4 for the blow-by gas containing the oil generated in a crank case and making the blow-by gas pass through toward the gas discharge port 4; separation mechanisms 7 and 8 provided midway on the gas flow passage 5 and separating oil mist from the blow-by gas passing through the gas flow passage 5; and an oil drain 9 sending out the oil separated by the separation mechanisms 7 and 8 through a drain hole 9d to the outside. Around the drain hole 9d, an inflow inhibition member 9e is formed which covers at least a part of the drain hole 9d to inhibit the inflow of the blow-by gas containing the oil mist circulating around the oil separator to the drain hole 9d.
