<p>Disclosed is a damage-resistant and highly durable eyelet that forms a port through which a cord wrapped around a bobbin in a rotary head of a corded lawnmower is paid out. The disclosed eyelet is provided with: an outer rim (60) having an outside shape for attaching to the rotary head; and an inner rim (62) disposed inside the outer rim. A through-hole (64), through which the cord is run, is formed in the inner rim. The outer rim is formed from a thermoplastic resin, the inner rim is formed from a ceramic material, and the two are bonded together as a single unit. The surface (64a) of the through-hole is treated with a surface-smoothing treatment.</p> |
