PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organopolysiloxane excellent in affinity with and adhesion to the human skin without feeling sticky, and a cosmetic containing the organopolysiloxane. SOLUTION: This organopolysiloxane is represented by formula (1) (where R1s are independently a group selected from a 1-30C alkyl group, a 1-30C fluorinated alkyl group, a 6-30C aryl group, and a 6-30C aralkyl group; R2is a reaction product of allylsuccinic anhydride and further, is a reaction product with 2-amino-1,3-propanediol; and A is a reaction product of a polydialkylsiloxane).
