PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing allyl ether, which has a high reaction efficiency. SOLUTION: The method for producing allyl ether includes a step of reacting a hydroxy group-containing compound with a carboxylic acid allyl ester in the presence of a transition metal catalyst, a complexing agent and a tertiary amine. In the reaction step, preferably the reaction is carried out in the presence of water in the reaction system in a state in which the organic phase and water phase are separated into two phases.
